This is my Aunt Della, the youngest sister of my paternal grandmother, Hattie Moore Pair. I love the hat and outfit she is wearing. This photo was taken in August 2008.

Aunt Della is wearing her hat like a crown. Reminds me of growing up when all females wore hats---women and girls. Remember the Easter hats with the elastic under the chin? They alway made me want to yawn. The older ladies though---they KNEW how to wear hats!! Thanks for sharing Aunt Della's photo. Wow---100!! She looks great!
I do miss hats. When I was a child, all women wore hats - and gloves - to church and I really miss that.
