This question was posed by one of my blog readers and I've been also wondering the same thing---The wearing of hats was a custom for many generations---what made them go out of style/custom?
It hasn't even come CLOSE to going out of style at my church! I often feel like the odd one out for not wearing one, but I just don't feel that I've "gotten there" yet. I also think it runs in families. My mom wasn't much of a hat-wearer, although I'll be maybe she would be if she were able to get out and about (to church) now. I'm excited about your project!
